Robert Edwards Resource Centre

This Resource Centre is a commemorative site in honour of Robert G Edwards (27 September 1925 - 10 April 2013), winner of the Nobel prize for medicine.

Professor Robert G. Edwards of the University of Cambridge has long been recognized as one of the pioneers of reproductive medicine. His most famous accomplishment came in 1978 with the birth of Louise Joy Brown, the first baby born through in-vitro fertilization. This achievement has now been recognized by the Nobel Assembly who awarded him the Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine 2010 for "the development of in vitro fertilization". The Resource Centre contains a number of his articles, video material and podcasts on reproductive medicine.
